Ordered an afternoon tea for to takeaway. I emailed Aunt Sally’s and they replied quickly and confirmed the order. Arrived and collected at midday and out came a lovely box full of afternoon tea goodies. We were provided 3 sandwiches and 3 cakes each along with a scone, clotted cream and jam. Usually go to Aunt Sally's once or twice a week and i have to say the food, service, cleanliness and atmosphere is top notch. We usually have the full English and have no issue with the pricing or quality. The only small issue i have is that i wish they would use bigger plates as sometimes there is too much food to fit on the medium size plates they often use. Keep up the great work Sandra, Erin et al! Great cafe, service with a smile which is a good attitude to see, the menu is what you expect from a cafe, but the product you receive has their own special twist and stamp which sets them apart from other cafes.
The whole set up looks well thought out apart from the the queuing for paying or to be seated is identical, you can be fooled in thinking people queueing to pay are waiting to be seated which can make you think there are no tables left.
It can also get very loud at busy periods which makes it hard to talk to other on your table, but that is a very small price to pay for the quality you recieve.
